Bri Gross

Vanderbilt Alum, Former Athletes Unlimited Pro

Bri Gross brings elite Division I, professional, and international experience to the coaching staff. A standout midfielder at Vanderbilt, she was a unanimous First Team All-AAC selection, multiple-time All-American honorable mention, and finished her career as the Commodores’ all-time leader in draw controls. Gross also represented the United States on the U.S. Women’s U19 National Team, helping capture gold at the World Championship. A former Athletes Unlimited professional and current varsity coach at Valor Christian, she is known for her relentless work ethic, leadership, and competitive edge. An accomplished student-athlete and five-time AAC All-Academic honoree, Gross brings a standard of excellence to every level of the game.

Chris Duncan

Head Coach Woman’s Lacrosse, Whitman College

Chris Duncan is the head women’s lacrosse coach at Whitman College and the 2025 Northwest Conference Coach of the Year, bringing championship-level leadership and deep regional impact to the game. A Whitman alumnus and former all-conference midfielder, Duncan has led the program to back-to-back Northwest Conference Tournament appearances (2023, 2024) and has been instrumental in developing multiple All-Conference players, including a Conference Offensive Player of the Year and two Rookies of the Year. Prior to his head coaching role, Duncan served as assistant and interim head coach with Blues Lacrosse and also coached Whitman’s men’s MCLA program. Deeply committed to growing the game, he helped launch the Walla Walla Youth Lacrosse program and continues to be a driving force behind lacrosse development in Southeast Washington.

Claire Kallio

Assistant Coach, Colorado State University Pueblo

Claire Kallio is an assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Colorado State University Pueblo and a former standout goalkeeper at Fontbonne University. She brings Division II head and assistant coaching experience from Notre Dame College, UCCS, and CSU-Pueblo, where she helped multiple athletes earn All-Conference honors. As a player, Kallio set Fontbonne’s career records for wins and saves and holds the MWLC single-season saves record with 160. A proven leader on and off the field, she combines elite goalkeeper training with a deep passion for athlete development.

Kennedy Goss

UC Berkeley Alum

Kennedy Goss is a University of California, Berkeley alum and one of the most accomplished draw control specialists in Golden Bears history. Cal’s all-time career leader in draw controls (280), she also holds the program’s single-season record with 83 as a junior in 2023 and recorded three of the top five draw control seasons in school history. Over four seasons (2021–24), Goss appeared in 66 games with 53 starts, transitioning into a starting attack role as a senior while maintaining her impact at the draw. A dynamic competitor and student-athlete, she was a two-time member of the Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll and brings elite field IQ, work ethic, and leadership to every environment she’s part of.

Mary Schumar

Marquette and Northwestern Alum

Mary Schumar is a Marquette and Northwestern alum and one of the most accomplished attackers in Marquette history. A 2024 USA Lacrosse Division I Preseason All-American, Schumar ranks No. 1 all-time at Marquette in assists (115) and No. 5 in career points (169). She earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors in both 2022 and 2023, was named Marquette’s Team MVP in 2022, and received multiple national honors including Inside Lacrosse, USA Lacrosse Magazine, and IWLCA All-Region recognition. A dynamic playmaker and proven leader, Schumar brings elite vision, experience, and competitive fire shaped by success at every level of the game—from high school state championships in Michigan to the top stages of Division I lacrosse.

Kyra Pelton

Stanford Alum, 2X Pac-12 Champion

Kyra Pelton is a Stanford alum, former Athletes Unlimited professional, and one of the most accomplished defenders in Cardinal history. A two-time Pac-12 Tournament Champion (2018, 2021) and All-Pac-12 First Team selection, she helped lead Stanford to an undefeated regular season and conference title in 2021 while earning IWLCA All-Region honors. Pelton led Athletes Unlimited in wins during the league’s inaugural season, proving herself as one of the game’s ultimate competitors. Off the field, she earned both her undergraduate degree in sustainable product design and a Master’s in mechanical engineering from Stanford, blending elite athletic performance with elite academic achievement. Known for her relentless work ethic, leadership, and winning mentality, Pelton brings a championship standard to everything she does.

Kasey Braun

University of Colorado Boulder Alum, Tenacity Elite alum

Kasey Braun is a University of Colorado Boulder alum and proud Tenacity Elite graduate (2018) who brings both high-level playing experience and academic excellence to the game. A versatile midfielder for the Buffs, Braun appeared in 36 career games, starting three as a senior while posting career-highs in goals (8), points (11), and ground balls (9). She was named to the 2022 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll and made her mark as a reliable draw specialist early in her collegiate career. A decorated high school All-American and three-time league MVP at Cardinal Newman, Braun finished her prep career with 249 goals, 355 draw controls, and 238 ground balls. Known for her work ethic, leadership, and consistency, she now gives back to the game that shaped her.

Sophie Kamanski

UCLA Alum

Sophie Kamanski is a UCLA alum and lifelong student of the game whose lacrosse journey began in the fourth grade. A four-year veteran and senior leader for UCLA Club Lacrosse, she helped guide the program to a No. 2 national ranking during the 2020 season before its abrupt end due to COVID-19. Known for her lead-by-example mentality, Kamanski set the standard through relentless work ethic, extra reps, and unwavering commitment to her teammates. Off the field, she brings the same drive to academics and life beyond the game, having accepted a role with Williams-Sonoma’s Marketing Department in San Francisco. Sophie’s passion for growth, leadership, and team culture defines everything she does—on and off the field.

Madeleine Sherry

Whitman College Alum

Madeleine Sherry brings elite-level experience, leadership, and competitive fire to the sidelines as a Whitman College alum and one of the most accomplished players in the Northwest Conference. A 2023 Northwest Conference Player of the Year and multiple-time First Team All-Conference selection, Madeleine was a dynamic offensive force for the Blues, leading her team in assists and ranking among the conference leaders in goals, points, and shooting efficiency. Before Whitman, Madeleine excelled as a Valedictorian at Bainbridge High School, a Washington State lacrosse champion, and a multi-sport athlete in both lacrosse and soccer. Known for her work ethic, intelligence, and team-first mentality, Madeleine now brings the same excellence and passion to developing the next generation of players.

Jane Earley

Middlebury College Alum, University of Denver Alum

Jane Earley is one of the most accomplished attackers in collegiate lacrosse, bringing championship pedigree, resilience, and elite-level insight to her coaching role. A three-time NCAA National Champion at Middlebury, two-time NESCAC Player of the Year, and a Tewaaraton Award Watch List selection, Jane rewrote record books with her scoring, leadership, and competitive edge. After a historic Division III career, she finished her final season playing Division I at the University of Denver, further elevating her experience at the highest level of the game. Known for her work ethic, game IQ, and unshakable mentality—sharpened during two lost COVID seasons—Jane now channels her championship mindset into developing the next generation of players.

Kathrin Nixon

University of Denver Alum, Tenacity Elite ’21 Alum

Kathrin Nixon brings elite playing experience and proven leadership to her coaching role as Head Coach and Lead Women’s Coordinator for Sun Valley Lacrosse. A standout defender, Kathrin earned WCLA Rookie of the Year honors in 2022 and was named a WCLA All-American in 2023 at the University of Denver. As a proud Tenacity Elite ’21 alum and current member of the Tenacity Project administrative team, she embodies the program’s values of resilience, accountability, and competitive excellence—now passing those standards on to the next generation of athletes.
